注染、その深き淵。
［注染とは］
100年以上続く伝統工芸《注染》は、そのやわらかな風合いと、手仕事を感じる優しい表情で今の世もあっても変わらぬ人気が続きます。いっぽうでその工場はどんどん減ってしまい、技術を継承する職人も高齢化が進んでいます。かつては日本全国に多数あった注染の染工場（せんこうば）は、いまでは10数軒ほどを残すのみとなっており、注染職人をすべて合わせても50名にも満たないといわれます。

私たちは「注染」という伝統的な技法にこだわって、昔ながらの和晒を染め上げています。その全ての工程は職人の「手仕事」によるもので、同じ色、ぼかしなど、全く同じ製品をたくさん作ることが難しいという、時代に逆行するような不自由さを持っています。こんなに便利な今の世の中に、奇跡的に生き残った注染手拭い。今では他に比べるものが無いほどの粋な奥行きがあるのです。拭うの一枚の手拭いから、その味わいを感じて頂ければ幸いです。の手拭いは日本の伝統「注染」だけ。
